Welcome to Seattle Area Jazz Musicians!
You've found the place for amateur and pro jazz musicians in the greater Seattle area to find each other and collaborate. This system is similar to Facebook with posts and 1:1 messages, but you can also search for players to work with and venues to play at. We hope you'll use the system to post about jam sessions (there are "repeating posts" for this!), concerts, your bands' gigs, openings in your band roster, and anything else local jazz related.
- 1st Step: Sign up here.
- 2nd Step: Once you get in, click on the VERIFY EMAIL button to verify your email to the system to prove you're not a bot. Accounts without email verification (bot-registered accounts) get deleted every night at 1am. Also, you don't get access to community posts, messages, or the search feature without it.
- 3rd Step: After your email is verified, you'll see a SETTINGS tab appear (along with other tabs giving access to other features.) Be sure to update your profile's settings with at least a bio and title, and add a picture, too.
- Last step: Also after being verified, go to the TALENTS tab and select the instruments you play and other things that apply, so people can find you.
